Bolivar Beach Parking Sticker Program

Effective January 2007, the Galveston County Department of Parks & Senior Services
will implement a Parking Sticker Program for the beaches of Bolivar Peninsula.

A fee will be charged for an annual parking sticker to park on the beaches and
will be implemented as follows:

  • The charge for an annual parking sticker shall be $10 per calendar year if the parking sticker is purchased on or after March 1st of the given calendar year. Parking stickers purchased during January and February shall cost $5 per parking sticker for that given calendar year. The discounted stickers can only be purchased by individuals from the Galveston County Parks Department at the address below. Individuals purchasing six (6) or more stickers will be required to provide license plate numbers for each vehicle.
  • Each parking sticker shall expire on December 31st of the same calendar year in which it was purchased.
  • Parking stickers are to be affixed onto the lower right side (passenger side) of the front windshield.
  • Parking Stickers may be purchased directly from the Parks Department at 4102 Main Street, La Marque, TX 77568. They may also be purchased by mail, by submitting a written request and mailing the request, along with payment, to the Galveston County Parks Department at the address above.
  • Parking stickers may also be purchased from authorized providers such as the Bolivar Chamber of Commerce, Beach Vendors on Bolivar , Real Estate Agencies, Convenient Stores, and Galveston County’s Parking Sticker Attendant(s) for $10 per sticker.
  • Two areas shall be designated as free parking areas. Dirty Pelican Pier, traveling northeasterly to the end of the County line and Rettilon Road traveling northeasterly approximately one-half mile to the washout.
