RENTED ALMA FOR A WEEK. HAD A WONDERFUL TIME! THE VIEW IS BEAUTIFUL FROM THE DECK & INSIDE THE CABIN. THE KITCHEN WAS VERY WELL STOCKED WITH POTS, PANS ETC... WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR!!!

initially, the home listed with two bathrooms...later comment was made that the home was remodeled with only one bath. please clarify..does it have one or two bathrooms.

the single bedroom...does it have a door and do the walls go from floor to ceiling?

HI! Yes, it does have two bathrooms, one up and a new one downstairs with a shower only. Upstairs has tub and shower. Yes, the bedroom is a separate room with floor to ceiling walls, door, etc. and a separate entrance to the deck.

We have rented Alma from July 18th - 24th and when we rented it initally, it was pink. I have seen on-line that you have painted it and added some other touches....we are so EXCITED!! This is our first time to stay and we are thrilled!! Counting the days.....

Hi! Beach access is very easy from the cabin. You can't see it in the photo but Alma St. (which the cabin is on) goes onto the beach so just beside the dunes you see in the photo is the road with beach access. Maybe I should submit another photo to make this clear! Thanks for the question!

We have just came home from vacation after staying at the Alma cabin. It is beautiful. We had a blast. The views from the deck were breathtaking. The inside of the cabin is totally updated and very pretty. We can't thank you enough for a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely be back here to rent the Alma again.

Hi Jamie and thanks so much for the kind words on the remodeling!
and hi Sharon! The new deck does have a "baby gate" which is removable and kept just inside the French doors. It has permanent mounting clips on the stair posts you will easily figure out how to use! The slats on the deck railings are the standard width, 4 inches I think, and will be fine for a toddler! The new pilings which support the deck and covered porch are rough timbers which might cause a toddler trying to pulll his/herself up to get splinters. I'm not sure what to do about that but wanted to warn you anyway!

I hope you enjoy the place as much as we do! There is a guest book we added this year which should be in the TV cabinet. Please be sure to sign and leave us your comments!

The stairs and deck are brand new and very solid with good railings. There is a landing half way up. The road that the cabin is on, Alma St., goes directly onto the beach and our cabin is on the first lot so beach access is very easy. Hello Mary and Stepfanie,

First, the cabin is about as seculded as you can be on Bolivar. The closest cabin to the West along the beach is about a half mile. There are other cabins to the East but ours is the closest to the water so sitting on the deck you don't see them for quite a distance.

Yes, the photos reflect the remodeling! There is a huge deck which is partially covered witih very nice outdoor furniture which is not shown. I'm going to ask them to add it. You can email me at allan_staib@hotmail.com if you would like me to email photos to you!

I'm sorry but you'll have to check with Swedes on the off season rate dates! My wife and i have two different opinions!

Hi Kay, Our cabin is located on the first street in Crystal Beach. It is not one of the large developments with a name. During the summer time, the beach is pretty crowded but from this time of year onward, almost all of the Crystal beach beaches are pretty calm. Our's is usually calmer than the ones more towards the center of Crystal Beach just because there are more cabins as you get closer to the center of the populated areas of the peninsula.
