Very homey and comfortable, everything you'd need for a good time...and we had a blast. The fenced yard was great for our dog, the washer and dryer, a blessing. A very short walk to the beach. The only problem with the TV was that the cable came loose in the wind, just tighten it. This is not a Beverly Hills Mansion, but who needs that in Bolivar? Loved it and will stay there again!

Brand new fence! Fence replaced November 2007.

I love this house! I am so happy to hear the the fense has been replaced! That was the one reason I stopped renting it. My dog would get out UNDER the fence where there were big gaps!

i tell you what we need a discount on this there place!!! its for PROM and the ladies comin are fine i tell you what!!!! oh... take out some chairs we got lots of beer to fit n' too.

To owners of Elrod: Rented your home over Thanksgiving break and LOVED it...do you have any discounted rates for an extended stay over the summer?

We had a group stay from 04/25-04/27 2008! We absolutely LOVED the Elrod! The fence was great for our dogs. The cabin was in a great location with easy access to the beach. We will definitely return. Thanks for a great stay!
