Some members of our painting group, http://canvasbycanvas.com, had a great time in this lovely rental overlooking the Gulf beach in Sept. 07. We could walk or take the suv to the beach and restaurants were close by. We found many photo opportunities in the area. If you're wanting to watch a dvd (we brought some painting instruction ones for study) make sure you have a player that works. We returned ours twice but were given a new one that worked later. We would rent from them again. We did not use the lower bedroom on the first floor. I posted one of the paintings I completed on the blog address this morning. NS |

Disappointed in cabin, Looks better in pictures than in person. No frying pan for breakfasts. Pencil for toilet paper holder, Had to go to store because lamps in living room had no bulbs in them. Moldy looking in some places and paneling coming off walls, Grout on entry way floor coming up, Front and back door hard to open and close, Had to fix one toliet because it quit flushing. In general the cabin needs to be fixed up a bit. |

Definitely NOT as nice as pics,lacking in general up-keep, windows havent been cleaned in YEARS! A shame because the view is exellent! Deck nice and big,yard very large, Down stairs room not really habitable:( ok for storage.Not sure why dogs are not allowed, perfect set-up for pets.... |
