New rules are now being drafted by the GLO that are going to limit re-development

The Ferry is re-opened now and Anne Willis is moving back to the Peninsula this week!
We have power and water – and the community is slowly re-building.

New rules are now being drafted by the GLO that are going to limit development and re-development to much less smaller areas - due to setbacks and minimum above sea level requirements. We are hearing that not only do the structures have to be 17ft, but the ground itself has to be 4.5ft.

This could effectively limit development for much of north-end of the Peninsula, and setbacks in Crystal Beach will move back the building line.

We have detailed maps showing the proposed new line now, contact us for details.

Swedes has setup a temporary office open on the Peninsula and we are going to create a new rentals page to show what actually is available to rent going forward.

We are receiving "lots" of calls for rentals already!
