This is a great house. You never have to leave your deck to get to the beach. This section of beach is almost private and quite - very few cars. This is our favorite beach house.

We had a BLAST !! I rented if for me and my boys and niece and her friends, covered porch, did not have to leave the house to get to the beach. My youngest son got to ride his big wheel the whole time because of all the roomon the porch. House was beautiful and roomy, EVERYONE wants to come back again this coming summer 2008

We enjoyed staying at this house some much we booked it again for Spring Break. Our family loved the space and easy access to the beach.

Yes, there is a blender.......I didn't use it, but saw your post so I checked. The pitcher to it is above the fridge in a cabinet.......the base is in the cabinet to the left of the fridge at the bottom.
Cabin was great! Definitely will rent this one again. Nice and quiet, well kept and decorated nicely. Felt like home. Lot's more than I anticipated.

Is there enough room to park at boat trailer at this property? I'm bringing my boat with me and need a place that will have plenty of room for me easily to park it.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights. It is a great rental - much more updated than most rentals in the neighborhood. The master bedroom has a wonderful view of the ocean. No carpet either - which is a plus....nothing worse than "funky" beach house carpet!!!

What a fabulous find! We enjoyed the clean fresh feeling throughout and the wood floors. The ocean view (sunrise) from the master bedroom was amazing. The sunset from the living room was nice too. Only one small drawback was the electronics. The CD/DVD/VCR players were on the blink and the radio has only 1FM channel it seems, very limited. Of course, we came for the quite and the beach not movies and music. We will return soon! Thank you!

We stayed here over Memorial weekend; what a fabulous time!!!!!The house is TERRIFIC!!!!!!! very clean and roomy!! Wonderful view. The furniture inside is soooo comfortable. The beds, amazing! These pictures do not do the house justice!! It is so much bigger in person. Did not try the DVD/VCR combo, as sitting on the patio gave presidence. I would rent this one again and bring my childeren. There is a Weber grill and it served our purpose. Huge light that shines out in the Gulf, perfect for fishing in the wee hours. Bring a frying pan as there is only one medium sized one and not in very good condition; otherwise, very well stocked. Will stay here again.

I think you will need to contact Swedes for rental availablity. I don't know that they read the posts especially since they have 100's of rentals.

My wife and four kids stayed a week here this past Independence Day. We had hoped to return next year. We made great memories and have lots of wonderful picture of our young kids playing in the sand. My wife and I will forever remember the nights spent on the porch listening to the waves. We sobbed as we saw the NOAA satellite image that shows this house has been destroyed. We will forever cherish the memories we have from our stay at Beach Haven.

My friend owned this beautiful beachfront home and to think that it is no longer there breaks my heart. What a loss for all who wanted to come back and enjoy Beach Haven. I will cherish the time we spent there and hope the Bolivar Peninsula will be able to rebuild and come back better than ever!!!! God Bless!!
