Loved the house, as did our guest that came to visit throughout the week. Our only real complaint was the elevator is not made available and carrying everything up those stairs in the summer heat was very difficult for us "old folks".

The pictures of this house do not do it justice! It is well built and very well maintained. So much room and what a view! There are many stairs but it is well worth it! See you next year!

Loved the house had a wonderful time. However I have rented from Swedes many times and this kitchen is the most poorly supplied I have experienced. No wine glasses for the beach? Come on! One of many things not available.

Great layout to the house and huge deck! Quiet and clean beach area 80+ steps away. Agree with previous comment re: kitchen. A few more utensils needed to be complete and the icemaker didn't work.

Unfortunately over time glasses and kitchen items are broken or leave the house. The wine glasses and kitchen utensils have been replaced. Thanks for letting us know. Owner

Great house! We had my pregnant wife, 2 yr old daughter, sister and her 2 young daughters, and my parents there this past week. We had a great time. Lots of stairs to wear out those kiddos, and it is quite upstairs so they can go to bed early. Only real complaints are the ice maker not being hooked up, no toaster, and the sink drains in the bathrooms are slow to drain at times. Beach was not crowded, and I never knew Texas had beaches that nice. We will rent again if available, or just become neighbors.

Beautiful, clean and kept house, very clean beach in front, the sand was like powder. Just a great stay all around. So worth every penny.
