I viewed this house last weekend and suggest that you select another accommodation.

I took my daughter and 10 of her friends in Dec 2007 for her 18th b-day. The kids had a blast. A few of the beds out by the pool table aren't what they look like in the picture but overall the house is nice. We had a great time and I would definately rent it again. If you itend to use the pool table, take your own sticks as the ones there don't have any tips.

i rented the beach house for march 13th thru march 16th, 2008.. it's a really nice beach house and in a great location.. as noted, the rooms upstairs may not be exactly as shown in the pictures, but they worked fine for the people using them.. the view from the back porch is blocked a bit by big palm trees and the sand dunes.. all in all, my friends and i really enjoyed the house and will try to rent it again for next year.. easily sleeps 16.. nicely laid out and plenty of kitchen items..

I just rented this beach house for a week...the furniture is filthy dirty...we used a WHOLE can of lysol spray on the furniture...BIGGEST oproblem is with the sewer all over the ground under the beach house...we could hardly BBQ for the smell and it running all over the place...ANd this is nothing new so the neighbors say...this house is big but there is broken chairs, pool sticks broken, a piece of plywood between the mattress and box springs on one of the beds...other than a few more things this beach house is ok....

My Family and I stayed at this beach house last october and it's in a good location but it's not as is looks upstairs anyways... The beds need to be replaced and something needs to be done about the under part of the house.. It really stinks and you can't enjoy BBQ's for the smell.. For the price this house rents it could use plumming work... but we did like it enough that we are renting it this weeked for mother's day...

Does anyone know if the sewer problem was fixed..looking into renting soon

I rented this beach house over two years ago. I am suprised to see that some of the problems have still not been fixed, like under the house, if your going to stay here you dont want to go under there. As rest of the house goes it was ok, like other people said the beds up stairs in the game room are really not what they seem, maybe for little kids, but not adults. And i see they still havent got any new pool sticks.

We just got back from staying at Boe's last week. It was a perfect location, the house was spacious, however, the outer appearance of this house was horrible. We pulled up only to see nasty old bed mattress piled up, 4 broken charcoal grills, and old junk piled under the house in the driveway. I also would like to forwarn people that if you stay here, take AIR MATTRESSES! The beds feel like your lying on a boxspring, and I am not over exaggerating... I am so glad to be home and sleeping on a real bed.

We stayed at Boe's II over Labor Day weekend and was not all that impressed. We have rented houses from Swede's for 10 plus years and this is the first time we were really not pleased with the house. This house has MAJOR electrical problems, some times the outlets would work and then other times they wouldn't. 2 burners on the stove didn't work, 1 was broken to the point of "possible electrical shock" according to the maintenance man. The front door didn't close, and if you got it closed it took jerking or pushing on it several times to open. The sewer smell was still rather bad, even though we didn't flush our toilet paper. There was still trash under the house from the pervious renter's complaint. Although Swede's was aware and was waiting for the house to become vacant enough to clean the trash out. Yes, the beds aren't very comfortable and the pics didn't not show what the house really looks like up stairs. What the house did have going for it was the amazing view, location and ample space downstairs. The downstairs part of the house seems to be the only part that has been updated. There is more than enough room in the kitchen, living and dinning room to socialize and hang out. The down stairs bath has an extra counter and sink that helps with bathroom space. I know houses that are on the beach have salt water and sand as major factors in their condition, but this house really needs some major work done and a little more TLC. Swede's has attempted to contact the owner for these needs, so hopefully the house will be updated and maintained soon. Over all I would only rent this house if nothing else were open.
