this house is much nicer than the pictures show. inside it has a spacious, airy feeling. the master bath has a glassed-in shower big enough for two, double sinks and except for the lovely blue shower tile, the bath is all-white. it's also spottlessly clean. a bonus is that the washer/dryer is in the bath. laminate flooring throughout is easy to keep clean, cleaning supplies are provided but bring your own windex. the beds are very comfortable, but bring your pillows if you like more than one. the living room couch is a futon so there is extra sleeping room. a/c is icy cold. outside the deck has 3 seating areas and a well-situated porch swing that catches the breeze. downstairs there is a long covered picnic table that seats 12 , convenient to the bbq. outdoor shower, hoses on both floors. the "dog run" is a great feature-a separate set of stairs for access to a fenced backyard. you can position the gates to keep your dog on the deck, ar let it run down to the back. i believe the house is in the 7th row, so it's a short walk to the beach. beach views sideways from the front of the deck, and from the master bedroom window. on the negative side, the bedroom doors have no locks, so don't expect privacy. also sugar ants in the kitchen at the time we stayed, but reported it. bring xtra spoons & also a flyswatter. inspect everything when you check in-i didn't realize until cleaning on the last day that the oven had been left full of grease by the previous tenant. this house has a clean, beachy feel and i would definately rent this place again! |
