Stayed at Spoonbill May 7-10---great house! Living room furniture was very comfortable, kitchen has lots of room and supplies for use. Beds are comfortable, overall the house is very clean and maintained. The surrounding deck is very nice too. We would stay here again, but we did miss our beachfront locale this year.
Thanks to the owners and Swedes for keeping this house looking good!! We loved the guestbook too...great idea. |

My family stayed there the last week of June and loved the house. We did end up renting a golf cart which made the week fantastic. With the beach access being a little tricky and a walk with a baby the cart was a must. The owners have a "gem" in their beautiful home and we are very thankful to them for sharing. |

I rented this house July 19 2010 through July 25 2010, My family and I come to Crystal Beach every year for some time now and we are alway's treated like family there, this house has been the best so far,there were 10 of us staying there. It is a very nice house with plenty of room, the master bedroom with it's own bathroom was a life saver and very big, all the bedrooms were of good size, I really loved this house, you can walk or drive a golf cart to the beach but not your car.I would like to thank the owner's of this house for sharing it with us, you have a lovely home. My husban and I will be back in Sept. and then again next year with the family,Thank you again. P.S. Everyone at Swedes was very nice and helpfull, thank you !! LaDonna Walker and Family 2010 |

Lovely, comfortable house. We rented this house the past two summers. Master bed is very comfortable, but guests were uncomfortable in the other bedrooms. Bring coat hangers! There were none. Why are there never any big pots ANY of in the houses. You can't boil shrimp for 8 in a one-quart pot. The subdivision changed beach access, so you must return to the highway to drive down another road to get to the beach. Houses have been rebuilt on first two rows, so beach view is limited. |

Only negative: the smaller beds are not comfy at all on middle-aged bones. OK for kids, though. The master bedroom is VERY comfortable. |

We stayed there in May 2011. We usually rent Beach Dreams but it was not available. It is in the same sub division as Spoonbill. Although Beach Dreams is a more elaborate, Spoonbill worked very well for us. I will choose Spoonbill the next time we go because it was comfortable, had great rates and had everything we needed. I liked the fact they actually had tubs instead of just showers. Comfortable place.
