*-*-*-* We stayed in this wonderful home over spring break (March 26, 09). Everything was nice, clean and as described. The beds accomodated myself (a big guy) and my wife comfortably. The other queen kept 2 teenage girls in nicely as well. There were some minor details that needed attention and the property manager had them addressed within a couple of hours. Great service from Swedes' maintenance man. Tried to book again for 4th but this unit stays in advance. |

We have finally shaken all the sand out of our towels and settled back home,but boy do we miss the Flamingo Inn! This home is so comfortable and clean that we would recommend it to anybody. I think the beds were the by far the most relaxing we have ever slept in and what a great nights sleep to be had here.The waves lull you to sleep in the evening and the radiant sunrise greets you at morning,while having that first cup of coffee on the BIG deck looking out at the waves.The interior decorating was just what we would have choosen,enough to know where you were with out being gauddy.The realty agents who care for it are so accommodating and quick to make you feel at home,making sure your every concern is met in a timely fashion.The area is recovering so quickly and the beach is so close and clean,no litter anywhere.Just a SHORT walk to the best beach we have ever been to in this area.And the neighborhood is so family friendly,quiet and safe.We walked to the beach as late as midnight and never felt any apprehension on doing so.If I could change only one thing it would be that we could have stayed longer.The area is still recovering and it will take awhile for it all to be back like before but this is one area that is WELL on its way to becoming all it was before and then some.Thank You so much for the use of your lovely home ,we just loved it and cant wait to return next year and fish some from the pass just a short jot down the road.The bird sanctuary was a treat as well as Moody Gardens.LOVED IT!! see ya next year,David and Sally Fiske(7-5-09/7-12-09)

The Pro's of this rental are as follows: BIG deck, nice and quiet community, clean, short walk to the beach.
The Con's are as follows: My husband had to clean the glass that was near the outside shower, Only 1light worked outside which was located on the deck, The BBQ grill is broken (won't close correctly).
The visit was awesome with the minor flaws. |

Just looking at the pics of Flamingo Inn, makes me MISS THE BEACH. We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It felt like home.. and loved how it had seperate rooms, to give each of us our own space. We had our five children here for a week, and we were all comfortable!! WE will rent again, and stay at Flamingo Inn! |

Lot's of things needed fixing from the start but nice friendly service from the maintanence man. Nice big deck, house is comfortable for 4 people. Too many nik naks- lot's of breakables for kids. Less clutter would be better. |
