We stayed here during June 07'. House was clean and basic, but for the the price, a real bargain! Beach was right down the street. We would stay at the ole' sage again for sure. |

Does this house have beds? We really don't care for sofa beds. |

This house was great. Needed some cleaning, and the yard mowed. The downstairs shower doesn't work to wash off with, and the toilet downstairs had cobwebs all over it. The floor had some dirt on it, and it needed to be cleaned, but it was MINOR, all we had to do was pick it up with our hands. The mattresses were kinda crappy, and one bed is on the floor. It had very little to cook with, so make sure to bring your own. It did have a great big pot if you want to cook gumbo, or some crabs that you catch in the gulf. Otherwise, we had no other complaints, it was very clean besides the crumbs. I would DEFINITLEY stay in the house again!! |

we stayed here in July. House is very un-level...takes some getting used to. There are plenty of dishes, pots, pans, silverware etc... bathroom downstairs is awful! Don't even open the door! LOL! It was so hot in that house i thought I would die ( nothing over windows to block out sun) the refrigerator ruined all our food. On the bright side of things it was right by the beach and everyone at Swedes is soo nice! |

We stayed here July 25-31st and had a great time! The floor was unlevel but we got used to it.(good thing we weren't big drinkers!) LOL It did get hot during the afternoon, but we just went shopping, spent a lot of time at the beach, went fishing, crabbing (yum)... The house is old but for the price I thought it was great and the folks at Swedes were very nice. My husband did have to replace the showerhead because the one that was there only trickled! The downstairs facilities (Shower and toilet) did not work but we used the hose to rinse off after our beach trips. ONE MORE THING: The beds were very, shall I say uncomfortable... We brought an inflatable bed from home(thank goodness) and the problem was solved! But overall, we had a GREAT time and will come back again! P.S. The beach was so much fun and a great place to play and relax before going back to school this fall! We had a blast! |

I'd like to thank Genie for such great and helpful comments on ol' Sage! My family and I plan to go to the beach before school starts, thanks again. It's people like you that really help others make right decisions! |
