A-Bear's Anchor is close to the beach and has beautiful view of the gulf from the large inviting deck. Walk inside to a spacious living room with wrap-around sofa and large flat screen TV. Dining table has seating for 8 and kitchen has long bar with additional seating. Kitchen is completely stocked (blender and regular drip coffee pot) with plenty of room for food preparation and entertaining. All modern appliances include microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There are 2 bedrooms each on either side of the common room and a full large bath separates each set of bedrooms. Your children will love the pirate-themed bunk bed room while the adults will appreciate the king sized beds in each of the other 3 bedrooms. House features high-speed internet and satellite tv.
Small dogs (35 pounds or less) allowed with pet fee. All Swede’s Real Estate vacation rentals are NON-SMOKING properties.

Great location, perfect home for the weekend!
This home was clean, large, and in the BEST location in proximity to the beach and to the Ships Wheel!! Would definitely recommend and will be staying again soon!

Galveston with our family
We had a GREAT time with our family at our VRBO - A Bear's Anchor. It was a great location - less than a block from the beach. Everything with the house pretty much met our standards. We were there with our 3 adult children & 3 grandchildren. The accommodations definitely met our unique needs. There were a few minor issues but we informed the managing company & will take care of them. Due to the ferry delay we were late getting to the office to pick up the key but they were very gracious & waited for us.
