A Summer Dream

The inside of this house is very nice, the couches could be upgraded though. Downstairs was disappointing! The outdoor shower was full of mud, the outdoor sink was filthy and the drain was full of twigs and dirt, and the tables/bartop had lots of bird p**p. Apparently the cleaning fee doesn't include anything downstairs prior to your visit.

The location was good - not beach front but being 2nd row still felt like beach front. We did find a few things in the house that needed some attention but for the most part we really enjoyed the interior. The outside (especially underneath) needs a LOT of work. We weren’t able to use it at all but the upstairs deck was okay.

The whole process was super easy and very affordable, the house was perfect for our Family of 7. We only had a few issues but they didn't effect our overall stay, the room that had the bunk beds didn't have a powercord for the TV, and the a/c kept automatically going up to 88 degrees due to it being on a set schedule on the nest device, we didn't mess with the schedule. We did turn in down while we were inside the house but it would continue to jump back to 88.

We had a great time during our stay at Summer Dream! I'll start with the positives. The location is amazing - just steps from the beach and less than 3 miles away from popular restaurants, gas stations and The Big Store. The house itself boasts tall ceilings with a huge kitchen, perfect for cooking entertaining, and had mostly everything we needed. Main bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, providing plenty of space in the drawers and closet for our clothes. The deck has plenty of seating for hanging out, making every night memorable. For the negatives. Both the driveway and deck railings could use an overhaul. Rinsing off in the driveway will create standing water and the railings are a bit wobbly on some parts of the deck. Definitely wouldn't let small children lean over. The living room furniture was a bit dated and needs a good cleaning. The blankets in the main bedrooms could use replacing as well. Linens that we got through Swede we had to put on ourselves, which was kinda a bummer. Not exactly the first thing you want to do on vacation. The right sink in the main bedroom had some issues draining. We had to go buy a trash can because there wasn't one upon arrival (which we left for the next tentants).

With all that said, these issues didn't impact how much we enjoyed our stay. The experience really is what you make it. We might stay here again, provided, some of these issues are fixed. Thank you, Swede Real Estate for your professionalism and communication! Can't wait to go back.

Home was clean and roomy. Rug and couch in livingroom was questionable (stained) very disappointed by small roaches in the kitchen. Had to pack up everything on the porch making sure to shake it out and not bring any friends home with us.

This beach house was SO GREAT!!! It has everything you need and the location to the beach is perfect! It’s SO close!!! My husband, 6 year old son, and my teenage daughter and her two friends all came in and out for two days and it could not have been more fun or relaxing! Thank you for such a beautiful property!!!

Great time great location! Mosquitos and jellyfish were bothersome but the weather was awesome. House was clean and very spacious ! We enjoyed our time together. Would definitely rent it again !

Good. Close to beach and easy access. We were there for just the weekend. TX Golf Carts did a 1 night rental which made our time on the beach fun. The comforter on the primary bed needs replacing due to a huge stain in the middle. We rented linens but brought paper products, soaps, coffee, condiments, food with us. The house was missing a can opener and hangers. If there is something you want or need, bring it. Key was not available for after hours pickup. It was delivered in about 20 min.

Though the home has some over used items and make it look a little outdated, it has plenty of family space. Large kitchen and 2 baths helped a lot. The location is very near the ocean and makes it great to walk to the beach. The extra services offered by the management company are a must as you don't have to carry a lot personal items, i.e. towels and bed linens. Over all I say I'll stay in this again and recommend it to anyone going to Crystal beach.
