Located on a beautiful wide beach at the western end of the Bolivar Peninsula, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath beachfront home is perfect for a single family. Enjoy views of cruise ships leaving Galveston Island and the lovely sounds of the waves crashing from the furnished deck! Captain Morgan is located in a quieter area of the peninsula but still only minutes from the stores, restaurants, and night life. You are also just moments away from the beach via the convenient beach access road!

The cute beachy interior of this cabin encompasses a cozy living area, well-appointed kitchen (both regular drip and Keurig coffee makers available), large granite island, and a dining table that is perfect for meals and games. You'll also appreciate the on-site washer and dryer, and high speed internet.

With 1100 square feet, the house easily sleeps 8. The first two bedrooms offer one queen bed in each, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The sleeper sofa adds accommodations for two more.

Captain Morgan has a large yard with room for fun and entertaining, as well as a charcoal grill and an outdoor shower. You will enjoy the privacy and peace of this cabin, and want to return again and again!

No large gatherings are allowed at this property. Small dogs (under 35 pounds) are allowed with a pet fee. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Clean Home with a Great View!

The home was clean upon arrival, with a one-of-a-kind ocean view... we had a great time! There is nothing like watching the ships as they line up to come into Galveston Bay, and to listen to the sound of the waves at night to help you sleep... If you are an early bird, be sure to get up around 30 minutes before the sunrise to watch as the day breaks over the water...

Beautiful Views, Comfortable Home

We loved our stay at Capt Morgan! It was peaceful and quiet, the house was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook during our stay.

The location of the rental is fantastic. Pretty marsh right behind the back yard and just a very short walk to the beach. Great ocean view from the deck.

Front row, well stocked kitchen, no internet.

Dispite loosing power for 2 days (NO HOT WATER) and not being offered compensation for loss, it was a positive experience.

Captain Morgan is a great rental

We had a wonderful family trip to Crystal Beach. We had everything we needed at Captain Morgan. It’s just the right size for 6, although we had 5. We had everything we needed to cook with, outdoor furniture to relax on and we paid extra for sheets and towels so we were set. Wonderful trip, the best memories!

Very relaxing stay, sitting on deck listening to the waves. It is a small beach house but was perfect for 5. I do think they should update the couches soon otherwise everything was good.

Great location, cute beach house

This was our first time to rent a beach house for the week. Captain Morgan was great! It is located in the first row and you could see the water from the deck. What a view! We were fortunate enough that my sister lives there and we borrowed her golf cart for the week. However it is not a long distance to walk. House was super cute and just right for our family. We did purchase the sheets and towels for the week. If you do that you only need your beach towels. There is plenty of dishes and cookware also. Do bring your own toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. It is a great house and we hope to be back next summer!
